STILL EMERGING

STILL EMERGING

Karen is home to many different places,
But none feels as homey as the Bistro,
And seldom do I write about experiences more than once,
But 1952 demands to be felt again and again;

This is a story,
Of evenings, where I’m left in awe,
Of what a space can really mean;
And all that can be felt by just existing there;

This is a story,
Of my shared love;
Of food and ambience that can only be found here;
And what it has meant to me in the short time they’ve been open;

If you ever feel lost,
And want to find somewhere that brings you back;
Should I never write another piece and want something to remember me by;
Think of the Bistro and all the love I put into this piece.
