FINALLY GIVING IN

I guess I finally gave in,
Finally accepted this path,

It was a way of life we chose every day;
And for a while, edged to the periphery,

It wasn’t something we wanted to pursue;
But were constantly engaged in;

But now we are seeing things differently;
Seeing the beauty that kept us coming back.
