KEEP SEEKING

I think we got lost for a bit,

Seek-ed that side for so long,
That we forgot what we really wanted;
Fell short of our true selves;

We have a few reminders of a life we loved;
But we can’t live aspiring to a past life;
We have to morph into the present.
